Electrically
Driven Air Compressor
A Hypres electrically-powered,
10.2 cfm or 14 cfm, 6000 psi air compressor
provides a limitless source of compressed
air to the Hurricane. When back at
the station, the compressor can be
run from a 220V landline as appears
below. Hurricane II's are availabe
with 5cfm and 7.5cfm 5,000 psi dual-power-source
compressors with either single phase
or three phase motors.
220V
Landline
A 220V landline inlet and circuit
breakers for quiet operation of the
compressor at the station, are located
on the front of the engine compartment,
just inside the right front door of
the Hurricane. Note the rubber hold-down
which secures the removable top panel
of the engine compartment for easy
maintenance access.
Optional Forward Rehabilitation Compartment
For the maximum in versatility,
choose the REHAB model Hurricane
with a forward air conditioned insulated
compartment wtih bench seating for
up to five fire fighters. There's
plenty of room for a refrigerator
and cabinetry, and plenty of power
outlets (requires a 24' trailer).

Optional
Water Purification System For Rehab
Add an optional reverse osmosis
water purification system to your
REHAB model Hurricane for continuous
potable water production under all
circumstances. Comes with 50 gallon
storage tank and exterior wash station
complete with compressed air for debris
blow off, faucet, and shower for cleaning
up or quick decontamination.

Awning For Rehab
Add an optional 10' or 12' retractable
awning to your REHAB model Hurricane
for additional outdoor shaded rehab
space. Also available with drop-down
fabric sides to shield the space from
wind or rain.

SCBA Racks
SCBA racks are availabe in either
moulded Hytrin (shown at left) or
in a vertical aluminum configuration
(see photo at "Spacious, Organized
Interior" above) holding up to
12 SCBA bottles. An extremely practical
option for return of empties and pickup
of full bottles.

Lighting
Two Magnafire 3000 telescopic
lights with remote head control on
each side of the Hurricane provide
3,600 watts of spectacular scene lighting.
Other lighting options include Nitescan
telescopic masts providing up to 9,000
watts of lighting. (Click

Optional
Oxygen Systems
Your Hurricane can be equipped
with full oxygen systems including
DOT oxygen cylinders, control panels,
Class 2 containments, booster pumps,
and oxygen generators. Manufacture
as much oxygen as you need to support
EMS operations or a field hospital
with the Hurricane.
