The ARU-320 provides twice the engine and alternator power of the ARU-285 Technical Rescue Trailer, featuring a 4 cylinder, water-cooled 40 HP diesel engine from industrial engine manufacturer Lombardini, and a Getec 20 KVA alternator. This environmentally friendly engine conforms to EPA stage 3 requirements for low emissions and exceptionally low noise levels.

The ARU-320 is available in either a single axle configuration, or in a tandem axle configuration (ARU-320T shown) with two 5,000 pound axles for applications requiring greater weight capcacity, such as fire suppression systems and full-sized breathing air compressors.(Click on the image for larger view.)

The tandem axle ARU-320T with its muscular diesel power and 20KVA alternator offers not only twice the power, but twice the deck space for applications such as full-size air compressors and substantial tank capacity for fire suppression. All important engine and equipment instruments and controls, as well as circuit breakers, are logically and conveniently grouped on the ARU-320T's instrument console behind the driver's side engine compartment door. (Click on the image for larger view.)

The upper deck provides sufficient space for as many as six reels in any combination. The lower rear deck can accommodate multiple options, including PAC SCBA racks (shown in this photo), mounted hydraulic tools, or a stored energy CAFS system for fire suppression.
